Jisto: Young Velan boy who enrolls in a peer program to begin messaging with a neighboring planet. Grew up to work in the Radio Labs as a technician and liaison to Heimavinna.

Dezun: Jisto’s father. Works at La-Arh Radio Labs as a technician and was part of the initial communications with Heimavinna.
Isnid: Girlfriend of Jisto during his early life. Disliked technology.
Amai: Mate of Jisto in later rotats, worked as an assistant to Dezun. Mother to Orie.

Orie: Daughter of Jisto and Amai. Grew up in La-Arh talking with her Heimavinnan family. Branched out to travel around Senoth to become a roving reporter. Moved to Seonarh to eventually become a Council member.

Jisto: Orie’s Father, Senior Technician at La-Arh Radio Labs and Velan Liaison to Heimavinna.
Amai: Orie’s Mother, Senior Technician at La-Arh Radio Labs and guest instructor at various universities.
Kezi: Friend of Orie and test pilot for the VSA. Died in an accident aboard one of the test vessels. Biological father of Jayzun.
Nosu: Mate of Kezi, biological mother of Jayzun. Friend of Orie and Amai, fled to Choarh after the giving forth of Jayzun due to the legality of the mating with Kezi.
Jayzun: Adopted son of Orie.

Iphro and Radu: Family in Druskarh that sheltered Orie.
Yoma: Senior Representative on the Council.
Bolas: Senior Representative on the Council.
Danal: Representative from Chonarh newly appointed to the Council.

Jayzun: Adopted son of Orie. Accepted into the pilot program and dreams of flying to visit Heimavinna.

Orie: Adopted mother of Jayzun. Senior Council member for Vela.
Erin: Mate of Jayzun. Creator of the SI (Synthetic Intelligence). Works at the SI labs and with the VSA on SI projects.
Havi: Childhood friend to Jayzun and fellow pilot.
Joru: Fellow VSA Pilot that went to academy with Havi and Jayzun.
Side Characters
Giri: Havi’s sister and good friend to Jayzun.
Navi: Romantic interest of Jayzun. Works as a geologist on the moons above Vela.
Borlok: Friend of Havi and Jayzun from university.
Modi: Brother to Havi. Professional Splash-ta player.
